Kid: "Look! I drew the moon!" [a crescent with stars inside the dark part]

Parent: "I see. Is this a horrific sci-fi scenario where lunar mining has reduced its mass to a sliver? Or am I raising a scientifically illiterate hack who thinks that stars can shine through the moon's unilluminated disk?"

Kid: "No, Mama! Those are lunar cities! They're populated by space unicorns!" Parent: "Oh. I guess that's not so implausible."
